Your case can differ; the treating team sets the real schedule.

Decided byThe treating institution

Eligibility, technique and price are theirs to state. We translate and coordinate.

1. What CAR-T cell therapy is

CAR-T re-engineers a patient's own T-cells against certain blood cancers. In China it is available only at filed centres, and the commercial cell product itself is most of the price.

Between collection and infusion your own cells travel to a manufacturing facility and back, which is why the timeline is measured in weeks and cannot be compressed by paying more.

2. Who it is typically considered for

Assessed for certain relapsed or refractory blood cancers, after the centre's own haematology work-up. Nothing about eligibility can be promised in advance, by us or anyone.

3. How the process usually runs

4. What sits inside, and outside, the institution's bill

Typically inside the bill
  • The procedure, theatre or suite time, and the treating team
  • Standard ward stay for the listed nights
  • Routine drugs and consumables during the admission
  • The institution's own scheduled follow-up visit
Usually billed separately
  • Flights, hotel and daily costs
  • Our translation, interpretation and coordination fees, published separately
  • Treatment of complications beyond the routine course
  • A companion's costs
What moves the total
  • The cell product, a published national price
  • Inpatient days and supportive care
  • Management of side effects, which varies by case

You contract with the institution directly and pay it directly. We add nothing to its bill and never handle payments owed to it.

5. Recovery and follow-up

6. Common questions

Is CAR-T available to foreign patients?

At filed centres, after their own assessment, for indications within the product's approval. No intermediary can widen that.

Why is it so expensive?

The one-off engineered cell product carries a published national price that dominates everything else on the bill.

What are the risks?

Cytokine release syndrome and neurological effects are the known serious ones; managing them is why the inpatient monitoring exists. The centre explains them before consent.

Can the price be negotiated?

The product price is published and fixed. Anyone promising a discount on it is describing something that does not exist.

7. What to ask the institution

  • Is my subtype within the product's approved indication?
  • What is the all-in estimate beyond the product price?
  • How long is the manufacturing wait right now?

Our part, and its limits

We translate your records in full, correspond with institutions in Chinese, and interpret on site, at the rates published on the fees page. We do not give medical advice, do not recommend one institution over another, and never handle payments owed to any hospital. Whether this procedure is right for you is a question only the treating physicians can answer. Nothing on this page is medical advice, and no outcome is implied or promised.

Before any of this, the records

A rehabilitation plan can only be written by an institution that has read your case accurately. That is where the work starts.
