Work with us

For institutions, insurers, agencies and suppliers. Everything below is written the way it is because of one rule we do not intend to break: we take no fee from any medical institution for sending a patient there. That constrains what a partnership with us can be, and this page says how.

WORK WITH US

Three ways to work with us, each with its rules in writing

Institutions, referral partners and licensed local services. Different roles, one constant: every arrangement is disclosed to the client, and nothing clinical is ever promised.

What patients can expect where we work together

Estimates before treatment

Itemised, from the institution, before anything is booked. We translate them; we never mark them up.

A named contact

One person on your side, one on ours, per case, replying within agreed timelines.

Continuity home

Discharge papers translated in full so a home physician can pick the case up cleanly.

What we ask of institutions we work with

Licences we verify
  • A current filing in the national register, which we link, not paraphrase
  • Secondary or tertiary grading for hospital care
  • Relevant specialty qualifications where a pathway needs them
International-patient basics
  • A named contact for foreign-patient correspondence
  • Willingness to give itemised estimates before treatment
  • Discharge papers a home doctor can use, which we translate in full
What we never trade
  • No referral fees in either direction
  • No ranking, no "recommended" list, no paid placement
  • Facts from filings only; institutions review facts, not adjectives

How a working relationship starts

1. Hospitals and clinics

What a working relationship with us looks like from an institution’s side:

  • Accurately translated case material. Records arrive already rendered into standard Chinese medical documentation, complete, with original values and units preserved, staging carrying its system and edition, and ambiguities flagged rather than guessed. Your department reads a case, not a puzzle.
  • A named contact for correspondence in the patient’s language, so that a request for further material does not take three weeks and four misunderstandings.
  • On-site interpretation during consultations and admission, charged to the patient at a published day rate.
  • No obligation of any kind. You decide whether to accept a case. A decline is a normal and expected answer, and we pass it on unedited.

What we will not ask you for, ever

A referral fee, a commission, a rebate, a share of the bill, a “consulting fee”, a preferential rate we could mark up, or any benefit to any individual member of your staff. We do not offer them either. This is not a negotiating position, it is a criminal-liability line, and it is also the whole basis on which we tell patients that our advice is not bought.

If your institution’s standard arrangement with intermediaries requires any of the above, we are not the right counterparty and we will say so at the first meeting rather than the fifth.

2. Insurers and assistance companies

Where a member is considering treatment in China, the practical difficulties are documentary rather than clinical: an itemised invoice that a claims team can read, a discharge summary in the right language, and a clear record of what was done and when.

  • Translation of invoices, discharge summaries and clinical notes to a standard that survives a claims review.
  • Explaining, to the member, how direct settlement and reimbursement differ in practice here, the substance is published openly on using international insurance.
  • Interpretation at admission and discharge, where the member wants it.

We do not adjudicate claims, advise on coverage, or represent either side against the other. We translate accurately and explain process, which in this field is usually the bottleneck.

3. Agencies and colleagues in this field

We work with other companies in this industry on a straightforward basis: we do translation and interpretation, at published rates, for your clients. We do not solicit your clients, and we do not run a white-label service that lets our work be presented as medical advice.

One thing we will not do is join an arrangement where treatment, accommodation and travel are quoted to a patient as a single figure. Our reasons are set out publicly on Beyond care: a bundled price makes the medical component impossible for the patient to price, question or walk away from, and it places the seller in a position they are generally not licensed to occupy.

4. Non-medical suppliers

Accommodation, ground transport, licensed travel providers and similar. The structure is fixed and we do not vary it:

  1. The patient contracts with you directly.
  2. The patient pays you directly. No part of your fee passes through our account.
  3. Nothing is bundled into a combined price with anything medical.
  4. If you pay us an introduction fee, we disclose it to the patient before they use you, and it does not change what the patient pays us.

We will ask to see your licence for the activity in question. Where an activity requires one and a supplier does not hold it, there is nothing to discuss.

5. What we are, on paper

EntityA translation and information consultancy registered in the People’s Republic of China
Registered scopeTranslation services; information consulting; consulting and planning services; conference and exhibition services
Not registered forHealth consulting; pharmaceutical or medical device trading; travel agency business; private exit-entry intermediary services
Unified social credit codeTo be published
IncomeFees paid by clients, published on How it works. Nothing from any medical institution.

The third row is deliberate rather than an oversight. Registering for health consulting would sit awkwardly beside telling every patient that we do not give medical advice, so we have not done it, and we do not intend to.

6. Getting in touch

Write with what you do, which of the four above it falls under, and what you would want from us. You will get a reply from a person within one business day, including when the answer is that the fit is not there.

Tell us what you are proposing

Include which of the four relationships above it is closest to. A clear no comes faster than a vague maybe.
