It can change the anatomy that impairs it; no honest surgeon promises a pregnancy. Ask how your case fits the published patterns.

What if bowel resection is needed?

That possibility is planned for in advance with a colorectal surgeon, and consented separately. Ask how often it happens in their hands.

How long before flying home?

Commonly one to two weeks, at the team's clearance.

Will it come back?

Recurrence exists; suppression therapy and follow-up plans exist because of it. Ask for the plan, not a promise.
