The point of removing a lesion in one piece is the pathology: a single specimen tells the truth about depth and margins, which fragments cannot.

Is this cancer surgery?

It is the removal of early, superficial lesions before they need surgery. Final pathology decides whether anything further is required.

What if pathology shows deeper invasion?

Then the team discusses surgery. ESD does not close that door; it gives the specimen that answers the question.

How soon can I eat?

Liquids then soft food over several days, on the team's schedule.

Can surveillance be done at home?

Often yes; we translate the pathology and the recommended intervals for your gastroenterologist.
